Ethiopian Peace Choir invites children between the ages of 4 and 10 for a sing-along on Wednesday, May 15th from 6:00-7:00 p.m.! The workshop will be held in English and Amharic, with favorite children’s songs from Africa, Europe, North America, and South America. The workshop will last one hour and a parent/guardian is required to remain with his/her child for the duration of the workshop. The German Church is located near Sidist Kilo and Jan Meda. Join us on Tuesday, April 9th at 7:30 p.m. at Addis Ababa City Administration at Menelik Square for a vocal concert as three choirs celebrate unity in an evening called, ‘One Voice for Peace.’

We are thrilled to be welcoming Ishrini: Singers from Cambridge, a visiting choir from the United Kingdom for this event. They will be joining Polyphonic Voices, a local ensemble of singers from all corners of the world, and the Ethiopian Peace Choir, a group of young singers focused on promoting peace through developing musical literacy in Addis. Alongside professional soloists from the United States and England, the concert will feature the Ethiopian premiere of RVW’s Dona nobis pacem, as well as numbers from around the world!

 Tickets are 100 birr each and can be purchased through our members, or at the door. Seating will be admitted on a first-come, first-serve basis and doors will open by 7:00 p.m.

Drop by between 5:00 and 7:00pm to the German Church of Addis Ababa to audition! Your audition will take 5-10 minutes, unless there are people ahead of you in line.
